Ryan cares so much about getting great beer into people's hands; he spotted us as regulars at a local venue completely... unrelated to his own and made sure we were drinking quality beer. He is an absolute gem and has never steered us wrong. Rachel is a superstar who we always turn to for recommendations in booze we don't know as much about ourselves. There's a place to park your dog in the shop. Buy your beer here. If you're not buying your beer here; why the hell not?read more

Great selection of beers but they don't write prices on anything so you have to ask the price of every single beer... you're looking at which is really annoying if anyone else is in the shop. Hopefully they can change this. I'd shop there more often if it wasn't so frustratingread more

This is exactly the kind of local I have been waiting for since moving to the Burg 9 years ago. Great selection of... beers and haven’t gone wrong with any of the spirits either. Also we can bring our dog inside, which is nice. They’ve had a rough trot with the Skyrail works. Go and down your hard earned there - you won’t regret it.read more

Fantastic and friendly service. I'm so happy I found this place. I contacted them looking for help with a last minute... birthday present. Due to pandemic issues I wasn't able to come in myself to look for something. Ryan got back to me super quickly, was extremely helpful and made a great selection of beers which were then delivered quickly. I'm only sad that I don't live closer. Thanks for the help!read more

Its rare that I walk into a bottle shop and am greeted. Let alone given recommendations or tastings... And hey, there... was a time that I didn't really want to talk to the person behind the counter.. The Great Beyond changed all that. Wow. Probably the best selection of beers Ive seen and tasted. Great little shop full of spectacular beers from across the country and a few delicious international drops. Owner is... quite knowlageable and happy to help to you find the right beer, and usually has a can open for tasters! Dogs are welcome which is rad! Car parking can be a little bit of a pain, but there is plenty of street parking in the side street next door.read more
